About CSD

Developing Skills. Building Character. Inspiring a Lifelong Love for Cricket.
CSD (Cricket Skills Development) is founded on two fundamental principles: our passion for cricket and our responsibility to contribute to the holistic development of children.
Our grassroots program introduces children aged 3 to 13 to cricket in a fun, safe and structured environment, focusing on fundamental movement skills, coordination, agility, technical development and game awareness.
We believe that sport is about much more than winning. It is a powerful platform for building confidence, discipline, respect, teamwork, commitment and essential life skills.

The CSD Development Pathway recognises that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Our goal is not simply to produce exceptional cricket players, but to help every child reach their full potential, both on and off the field.
Through age-appropriate coaching, continuous program improvement and collaboration with schools, parents and hockey structures, CSD strives to establish strong sporting foundations and encourage lifelong participation in physical activity.
At CSD, we don't just develop cricket players. We develop children through cricket.

We focus on teaching the kids in a safe & fun way to enjoy the game and learn on & off the field.
Many injuries which occur in the adult / school games could easily be avoided through proper sport-specific safety training and education on how to use the correct techniques in order to play the game safely.
We acknowledge this and place a huge emphasis on teaching safety in sport in general.
